Tax Increment Financing - Tax Increment Financing is available in a greater part of the LaSalle County EDC region. The increase in real estate taxes generated from the project – the increment – is shared with development to defray eligible costs.
Enterprise Zone - Four Illinois Enterprise Zones are located in the LaSalle County EDC area. They include Streator, Mendota, Ottawa and Illinois Valley. They offer such tax abatements, tax credits and sales tax exemption.
Revolving Loan Fund - The communities of LaSalle, Marseilles, Mendota, Ottawa, Peru and Streator offer revolving loans based on the number of jobs created. Loan amounts and rates vary from community to community.
